Hello everyone! This week I have decided to experiment with putting up some of my original artworks for sale via my Etsy Shop. First off I have uploaded this handsome chap.

“Sir Dachshund” is painted in acrylic on canvas board, measures 8×10 inches and comes signed and unframed. He costs £60 inclusive of postage and packaging and can be posted to UK customers only.

I painted “Sir Dachshund” back in 2020, and he is part of a series of anthropomorphised animal portraits that include a Hare, fox, crow and Spaniel all in historical dress. At the time of creation, I was interested in creating realism in my acrylic paintings and particularly enjoyed the challenge of painting fur, feathers and complex varieties of fabric and clothing.
