These drawings were from my last in person session at Life Drawing Blackburn, so it was a fun session but tinged with sadness.

Stewart modelled for us and as an extra treat he also played us some songs on his guitar and sang to us while we drew.

This made the drawing a fun technical challenge as the model wasn’t perfectly still. This allowed us to practice capturing movement in our drawings.

I used newsprint paper and a 9B pencil to create these drawings.

After a break from life drawing in August I’m looking forward to hopefully returning to weekly classes at Hush life drawing in Clitheroe on Wednesday evenings in September.
