Last night I went to a Hush Life drawing session in Clitheroe. We had a lovely model called Gil, who is a very tall, slender person who can get into and hold some challenging poses. Gil’s also a very friendly person to have a chat with!
To start with Gil held some shorter poses, 2×5 mins, 1×10 mins and a 15 minute pose.
I used mainly Ko I Noor pencil for these sketches in blue and red.
For the longer poses Gil did a 20 minute and a half an hour pose. In this drawing I used 6B graphite pencil.
Instead of using the whole 30 minutes for one drawing, I decided to do a smaller detail sketch using a fountain pen.
