I am having a short break over Christmas from my 100 days of collage challenge. As usual, I have been run down and poorly during December so far.
I’ve been unable to keep up with my usual arts and crafts activities. So I’m taking a break. I am just doing some easy arts and crafts when I feel up to it.
One of the activities I have done is make a Christmas-inspired collage! In the spirit of Christmas, I have created a Freebie with my collages! You can also check out a You tube video HERE of how I made these collages. Or why not craft along with me!?
I created these collages in my usual 100 days of collage art journal. I wanted to relax and have fun with a low-pressure project. I was also craving a festive activity as with ill health, I’ve missed out on a few fun Christmas opportunities. So I sat in front of the Christmas tree and I got out my craft supplies.
I had fun making these collages, listening to Christmas music and drinking a hot drink.
I made these collages using a variety of different papers and images. Some are from old digital kits from other creators. Some from vellum paper. Some from craft and scrapbook papers I had in my stash. I also used some homemade collage papers and scraps from past artworks.
Each of the collages started on a page that already had some collage pieces on it. The existing collages were just a collection of white papers I had collected. I had previously started the sketchbook as a colour inspired glue book. But I have since repurposed it as an art journal for my 100 days of collage challenge. You can see that I have left some of the white collage papers peeping through. They are also visible under the velum papers. This creates some texture in the collages.
If you are looking for a fun, easy and festive craft activity, I would recommend making a Christmas collage. Alternatively, you can use my FREE PRINTABLE in a craft project of your own!
I have turned my collages into small Christmas gift tags that you can print out at home! You can get your FREE PRINTABLE TAGS here!

And I have created A4-sized files of my full Christmas collage pages for you below!
