I am very pleased to have a painting accepted for this years Bury Open 2025.

The exhibition will run from 15 November 2025 to 21 February 2026 so there is plenty of opportunity to go and see all of the incredible works from local artists. In the last Bury Open they had over 400 high quality submissions and this year they received even more interest so it is definitely worth a visit.

This is the first time I have entered the Bury Open and I am looking forward to seeing my work hung alongside artworks from other local artists.

The painting I submitted for the Bury Open is the painting I created for this years Paint Garstang Plein Air Painting Competition which I have reworked at home. The painting is inspired by Cezanne and Fauvism and you can learn more about it here.
