Here is the next installment of mini collages created in my 2×3 inch sketchbook.

This challenge, so far, has been a great way to ensure that I show up to the page and create something everyday, even if I only have a few spare moments. It doesn’t take long to fill a 2×3 inch page with something! But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy.

During this week I enjoyed using ephemera collected in my everyday life such as in days 17 and 18. I made some pretty simple collages this week such as on day 20- this was partly due to time constraints, but I was pleased to have shown up regardless of outcome. I have also really enjoyed using the written word again like in day 19, creating a little poem on the page was a fun creative challenge. I am realising that text, whether from vintage book pages or from my own handwriting, is one of the things I am most drawn to in my collage and mixed media work.
