I’d like to share with you these abstract, Mixed Media canvases I have painted!
Both paintings are made using collage, acrylic paint, glitter and Heavy structure gel pastes to give a highly textural feel and lots of depth. The paint is applied thickly to the canvas but the collage background still shows through making the paintings exciting to look at again and again.
The first painting is a single bee, he is painted on a canvas measuring 40 x 60 cm. The second painting is slightly larger measuring 40 x 80 cm and consists of a bee alighting some daises. They look great hung together but could equally be stand alone pieces.
