I couldn’t do an art journal page with the name mushroom moon designs without including a page with mushrooms in!
For the background I used some scraps from an old gardening book with nicely aged papers, some more stickers from the ever useful Antiquarian sticker book series and I used some netting from a bag of fruit of some description which I’ve had in my scraps box for a long time but knew would come in useful some day!
Sometimes items you have at home that you may think of as just rubbish, like the netting from the fruit I’ve used here, can turn out to add great texture to your journal pages. Why not try using “rubbish” in your next art journal page?
