I was very pleased to hear that my submission for the Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery Open 2026 was given “highly commended” at the opening on Saturday.

I was unable to attend the opening but am looking forward to visiting the exhibition and witnessing in person all of the fantastic art work from local artists in Blackburn and the surrounding areas.

If you are near Blackburn make sure you pop in to the exhibition.

The Art Open exhibition will run until 16th May 2026, and will be open 11 AM – 4.45 PM, Tuesday -Saturday.
