For this life drawing session at Hush I came prepared with some pre-painted papers. I used a selection of papers that were off cuts, old packaging or papers that were marked in some way, added some extra paint to them and then gave them new life as the backgrounds for my life drawings.

Some were more successful than others but I enjoyed the challenge that the existing marks made to my drawings and the opportunity to make fresh art out of old paper that would otherwise be discarded.
